The Clinic Manager/SLP will oversee the daily operations of the Scottish Rite Early Childhood Program in the Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic at CSUSB while also providing direct speech-language pathology services to children and families. This position is central to clinic operations and service delivery, ensuring effective client care, graduate student learning experiences, and compliance with university, state, and professional standards.

We’re responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Position Summary
Temporary, Staff, Part Time, Non-Exempt, Benefited position through 6/30/2026 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $34.61-$46.15 per hour.
Location: CSUSB Campus.
Work Schedule
20 hours per week. Monday through Thursday, flexible hours between 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Some nights and weekends may be required.

Typical Activities
Under minimal supervision of the Department Chair, the Clinic Manager/Speech-Language Pathology Clinician will work independently to:
Clinic Management
Coordinate clinic operations, including scheduling sessions, managing records, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, families, and community partners.
Provide administrative support to the Clinic Director and faculty.
Assist with billing, reporting, and accreditation documentation.
Maintain clinic inventory of materials and supplies.
Support community outreach and engagement activities.
Speech-Language Pathology Services
Provide pediatric diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to children and families.
Supervise and mentor graduate student clinicians as appropriate.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports in compliance with ASHA, state, and university standards.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and outreach events.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience:
Current California license in Speech-Language Pathology (or in process of obtaining).
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Other:
Strong organizational, clinical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
Pediatric clinical experience.
Experience with healthcare or clinic operations.
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (Spanish/English).
