Senior Child Welfare Investigator

Primary Function: The primary purpose of this position is to perform work of a general nature for the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and conduct specialized field investigations relating to child death and serious injuries and complaints that implicate misconduct of Department or private agency staff for the OIG, Department of Child and Family Services. Functional Summary: This position is a principal contributor in developing specific research project requirements and is responsible for all aspects of the project from development through delivery. Performs complex study and data collection methods as it relates to child death investigations or other general investigations conducted by the OIG. May coordinate and direct the work and research tasks of lower-level research staff.
