Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

All applicants must reside in the state of Ohio.
Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an approved professional nursing education program.
Baccalaureate degree in nursing for teaching in Associate Degree Program.
Current active unrestricted licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio.
Experience of at least two years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse.
Current certification in Basic Life Support CPR and experience in pediatric nursing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications: Current or recent employment with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, or in a pediatric healthcare setting.

Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments in accordance with college policies.

Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
Serve as an academic resource for students, offering guidance on coursework, study strategies, and academic progress.
Encourage student engagement through active discussions, collaborative projects, and real-world applications of course material.
Be available for student inquiries and provide office hours or virtual support as needed.
